Polypropylene or PP is one of the lightest fibers on the market weighing 34% less than a normal polyester.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, by not absorbing sweat, it ensures extra quick drying, is a good insulator and has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance.<\/p>\n<h2>Technical features that make a difference on the garment<\/h2>\n<p>Elastic polypropylene tapes boast various properties including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Push &amp; Pull Effect: Absorbs sweat and releases it immediately towards the outside, always ensuring a dry sensation on the skin<\/li>\n<li>Extra-fast drying<\/li>\n<li>Ultra Lightness: Lighter than Polyester Elastic Ribbons<\/li>\n<li>Breathability<\/li>\n<li>Same elastic and stability qualities as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nastrotex-cufra.it\/en\/prodotti_collezioni\/n42\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">N42<\/a> in a lighter, more hydrophobic version.\n<ul>\n<li>high elastic modulus, useful for stabilizing the bottom in bibshorts, the leg bottom and the waist.<\/li>\n<li>softness to the touch, designed for comfortable skin contact even in prolonged use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Cycling and sportswear applications<\/h2>\n<p>Elastic polypropylene tapes are used mainly in the sports world and in particular for cycling. The most frequent applications are braces, leg gyrus and waist gyrus in areas in direct contact with the skin and with high sweating.<\/p>\n<h2>Customizations, color and workmanship<\/h2>\n<p>Polypropylene fiber can be used to develop various types of elastic tape.
