The cycling industry is evolving towards increasingly lighter, higher-performance and minimal garments. Weight reduction is now a key factor in the design of every component, including elastic bands.<\/h2>\n

To respond to this evolution, we developed N42 Extralight: a version 10% lighter than the standard, weighing only 14.8 g while maintaining all the technical characteristics of N42 unchanged.<\/h2>\n

N42 presented in Versatility 2026<\/h2>\n

For Nastrotex-Cufra, versatility is an attitude built over time. Since 1953, we have been developing Made in Italy elastic ribbons with a technical and consultative approach, working with brands and designers to transform a request into a stable, repeatable and customizable product. N42 was born precisely with this logic, as a design basis from which to start variants dedicated to different collections and uses.<\/p>\n

What is N42 Extralight<\/b><\/h2>\n

The N42 Extralight<\/strong> is the 10% lighter evolution of our N42<\/a> elastic band<\/strong>, already recognized as a must-have for cycling clothing thanks to the balance between stability, comfort and customization possibilities.<\/p>\n

With N42 Extralight, the goal is to offer style offices an even lighter elastic band, ideal for leg bottoms, panels, and functional edges in cycling and running garments where every gram counts, and the need to pair a lightweight elastic band with an equally impalpable fabric has become the priority.<\/p>\n

N42 Extralight is made of super light and thin polyester microfiber. It is available in different heights from 10 to 70 mm and can be developed in many colors, with over 100 colors available per folder.<\/p>\n
