Nastrotex Cufra has been engaged in protecting the environment

for many years

  • 2008 – Installation of a photovoltaic system over the entire roof of the headquarters, thus guaranteeing 30% of energy needs and a reduction of CO2 emissions into the environment.
  • 2019 – Production of the first articles with yarn recycled from post-consumer plastic.

  • 2020 – GRS Certification, Global Recycled Standard (GRS) the internationally recognised reference standard that certifies products obtained from recycled materials.
  • 2021 – Installation of charging stations for electric cars.

  • 2022 – ISO 14001 certification, the most advanced standard in environmental management.
  • 2024 – Awarded FSC (forest certification system) certification and initiated procedures to obtain ISO 14067 carbon footprint certification.

ESGs and Sustainability Report

In recent months, Nastrotex-Cufra has embarked on an ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) path in order to anticipate European standards, with the goal of drafting our first sustainability report by the end of 2025.

The company monitors its ESG rating via the Ecomate platform, integrating transparency and the concept of shared value in its business model. The analyses show above-average performances in Economy, Transparency and Social Responsibility, with initiatives aimed at improvements in Environment, Mobility and Products. The next steps include the calculation of our environmental footprint and the verification of supply chain sustainability, confirming Nastrotex-Cufra as a leader in the sustainable transition of the sector.
