GRS certification

In 2020 we obtained the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification, which certifies not only the use of yarn from recycled materials and manufacturing activities, but enhances it in compliance with strict environmental and social criteria, extended to all stages of the supply chain. The objective is to reduce the consumption of virgin raw materials, water and energy and to substantially increase the quality and quantity of recycled products. The certification also ensures traceability throughout the entire production process and restrictions in the use of chemicals.

Solar panels

Thanks to the installation of a photovoltaic system consisting of solar panels on the entire roof of the headquarters, more than 30% of the energy needs are guaranteed. This manages to reduce CO2 emissions into the environment.

Electric car charging station

The research is oriented towards the Carbon Zero commitment, from water saving, to energy reduction, waste reduction and resource protection.

With this in mind, a further step forward has been made in recent months: in the company’s central car park, two new charging stations for electric cars have been connected for our guests.

Environmental labelling in all packaging

Nastrotex-Cufra has added a table to the transport document listing all the components used for packaging, with the coding for recycling and information for separate collection, in compliance with the legislation requiring environmental labelling in all packaging.

Nastrotex-Cufra undertakes to ensure protection of the environment and to improve sustainability during the life cycle of its products.
